Neuroscience for psychotherapists

This is a lecture given in February 2016, as a 'warm-up' for Ruby Wax's Mindfulness show. It tries to summarise the sorts of neuroscientific facts which psychotherapists might need to know in order to better bridge the divide between the psychotherapies and neuroscience, or to see how neuropsychological findings bear on issues of emotion, consciousness and memory, or indeed how we might bridge the divide between the psychotherapies and pharmacotherapies. Apologies for the sound quality!
